Synopsis

Newly licensed private investigators Balko and Krapp are hired by pregnant teenager Felicitas to find her missing boyfriend, Timo. Timo is an activist leading a protest against a resort project owned by Felicitas’ father. The search turns dark when the duo discovers Timo’s best friend murdered at the activists’ camp.

While police officers Alicia and Blanca investigate the homicide, Blanca is brutally attacked and left in a coma. Forced to work with an inexperienced rookie, a guilt-stricken Alicia turns to her stepfather, Balko, for help. She tasks him with finding Timo—the potential witness or killer—who holds the key to solving the case.
